The project is located in Majiatan Town, Lingwu City, Ningxia, with a total installed capacity of 17.94 MW. After the project is put into operation, it can provide an average of about 25.068 million kWh of green electricity per year. As the first floating PV plant in the mine water in China, the water area stores the high-salt tail water discharged from the coal mine, and its corrosive ion concentration is dozens of times that of ordinary fresh water. In response to the high salt fog environment, the Sungrow FPV technology team has provided a floating system solution for it, which can effectively combat the salt fog waters and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the floating PV plant.
In this project, Sungrow FPV organically combines idle mine water and new energy development to achieve intensive use of land space and maximize ecological, social, and economic benefits, to promote ecological industrialization and industrial colocalization. It opens up new ideas for photovoltaic construction scenarios and plays a role in the development of floating PV plants in mine water. The demonstration is of great significance.
