Deutsche Eco USA is building a photovoltaic plant with a total peak capacity of 100 kilowatts on the roof of the headquarters of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Solus Energy LLC, a regional partner of Deutsche Eco USA, is acting as a construction subcontractor on the project. The plant will be interconnected in early 2012 to the grid of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) and it will produce approximately 120,000 kilowatt hours of clean solar electricity per annum.

The photovoltaic plant is being financed through a power purchase agreement (“PPA”). The PPA provider and investor is Altus Power Management, LLC of Connecticut.
