At ESIE 2026 in Beijing, Jinko ESS took the stage with a clear and compelling message: “Solar · Storage · AI, Trinity for the Future.” More than a theme, it was a declaration of direction. Anchoring this vision, the company officially launched the SunGiga G2 Plus 522 kWh liquid-cooled commercial and industrial energy storage system, a new flagship product designed to bring together intelligent revenue optimization, exceptional safety, and full-spectrum operational capability in one highly integrated platform.

Positioned for the evolving needs of commercial and industrial users, the new SunGiga 520 represents a decisive step forward in how storage value is created and captured. At its core is Jinko ESS’s proprietary AI-powered electricity price forecasting algorithm and EMS intelligent energy management strategy, which work together to form a fully managed intelligent trading loop. By continuously learning from historical electricity prices, grid load fluctuations, and peak-valley tariff rules, the system can automatically generate optimized charge and discharge strategies. The result is a storage solution that does not merely respond to the market but actively anticipates it—helping customers unlock greater lifecycle returns with far greater precision.

Yet performance means little without trust, and here the SunGiga 520 makes an equally powerful statement. The system adopts an innovative non-uniform flow-channel liquid-cooling design that keeps cell temperature within 2 C, significantly reducing cell degradation and supporting longer system life. Beyond thermal management, Jinko ESS has built a multi-layered safety architecture spanning the cell, cluster, and system levels, delivering full-chain thermal runaway prevention and comprehensive fire protection. This is not safety as a checklist item. It is safety engineered into the product’s DNA.

Another defining strength of the SunGiga 520 is its grid-forming PCS technology, which enables seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes in 20 milliseconds or less. This allows the system to actively support grid voltage and frequency stability, making it especially well-suited to weak-grid environments with high shares of renewable energy. From peak-valley arbitrage and demand management to backup power and ancillary services, the product is designed to perform across multiple commercial scenarios with remarkable flexibility.

That versatility extends to physical deployment as well. With an IP55 protection rating and C5 anti-corrosion rating, the SunGiga 520 is built to operate reliably in high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-salt outdoor environments without requiring an additional equipment room. It also supports multi-unit parallel expansion up to 3 MWh, enabling customers across industrial parks, commercial complexes, data centers, renewable integration projects, and microgrids to scale with confidence.

The launch of SunGiga 520 was further reinforced by the broader strength of Jinko ESS’s storage portfolio on display at ESIE 2026. Alongside the new system, the company showcased the SunGiga G2 261 kWh liquid-cooled all-in-one cabinet, already a proven volume-delivery product in the C&I market, as well as the SunTera utility-scale storage platform, which received the world’s first UL 9540A 2026 edition certificate after passing an extreme large-scale fire test. Together, these milestones underscored a larger truth: Jinko ESS is not simply launching products. It is building a more intelligent, more resilient, and more bankable energy future.

With the debut of the SunGiga 520, Jinko ESS has once again demonstrated that the next era of storage will belong to solutions that unite intelligence, safety, and scenario-based value creation—and that it intends to be one of the companies defining that era.
