Jonas & Redmann wafer handling diffusion
The System is designed to automatically load and unload process boats made of quartz glass or SiC with silicon wafers for processing in a batch diffusion system.
The system is the result of systematic further development based on industry-tested technology and many years of experience with the aim of significantly increasing the productivity of the POCI3 diffusion process stage.
Jonas & Redmann was the first company in the world to automate this process for the industrial production of crystalline silicon solar cells with a high level of efficiency and has been the leading provider of technology in this field for more than 10 years.

Option TWIN configuration
The wafer handling diffusion system in TWIN design developed by Jonas & Redmann allows the automation of two batch diffusion systems with a high level of efficiency. This development is a response by Jonas & Redmann to the demand for still more efficient automation solutions for multiple-line PV factories.
Above all, the system is distinguished by its optimum adaption of automation and process system performance parameters, while ensuring a significant increase in productivity in POCl3 diffusion production clusters. In addition, the system offers a number of other benefits. Besides reducing investment volume scaled to performance, maintenance costs and costs for operating personnel are also significantly reduced.
