Marcin Sołtysiak, an industry investor, President of the ELQ S.A. Group, and the Group's principal shareholder, has finalized the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. The transaction was executed through the investment vehicle, which is affiliated with the ELQ S.A. Capital Group.
The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. represents a significant step toward expanding Marcin Sołtysiak's investment activities in the energy sector and building a broader competency base around the ELQ Group. The transaction strengthens their presence in the area of distributed energy, modern RES (Renewable Energy Sources) solutions, and energy services directed at individual, business, and institutional clients.
Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. is a company with strong market recognition, operational experience, a dedicated team, extensive know-how, and an established customer base. These elements provide a solid foundation for further development under the new ownership.
Following the change of ownership, the company continues its operations without disruption, executes ongoing projects, and maintains customer service in accordance with existing principles. Current contracts, services, warranties, and obligations toward clients and partners remain fully in force.
“I view the acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika as a strategic step toward building a strong, scalable position in the distributed energy and modern RES solutions segment. We are taking over a company with an experienced team, tangible know-how, and customer trust—the very foundations upon which further growth can be built.
Our ambition is not merely to continue operations, but to inject them with new momentum through technological development, portfolio expansion, scaling up operations, and leveraging synergies with the competencies gathered around the ELQ Group in the power sector. We perceive this acquisition not as a single transaction, but as part of a broader development strategy within the energy transition space. Distributed energy, local energy sources, customer services, and the integration of modern RES solutions will constitute an increasingly vital part of the market. We aim to actively participate in this process and build our position in segments that will be crucial for the future of the Polish energy sector.”
— Marcin Sołtysiak, President of the ELQ S.A. Group
The transaction aligns with Marcin Sołtysiak's long-term investment strategy, which is focused on developing competencies in the power generation, infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors. Linking the transaction with the ELQ S.A. Capital Group creates the potential to leverage the industry, organizational, and technical experience accumulated around the ELQ Group.
The new owner's objective is to further strengthen the market position of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A., develop the team's competencies, expand operational capabilities, and scale up activities based on sector experience, organizational background, and a long-term approach to development.
The next stage will involve an orderly process of further company development and the identification of potential business synergies. This process will be conducted while maintaining operational continuity, customer service stability, and the fulfillment of ongoing commitments.
The acquisition of Polenergia Fotowoltaika S.A. opens a new stage of development in the distributed energy segment—an area that, in the coming years, will play an increasingly prominent role in the energy transition, improving energy efficiency, and building a more resilient, decentralized energy system.
