A brand-new element has been added to the programme of the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (26th EU PVSEC).
The first edition of the EU PVSEC Business Forum focuses on one of the key questions for the global PV industries: Are PV Industrys Business Models of Today Suitable for Tomorrows Markets? The EU PVSEC Business Forum addresses to the top management of the global PV industry, finance sector, research and analysis. It takes place on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, from 14:00 to 17:30.
The EU PVSEC Business Forum approaches the topic from different perspectives:
- What are the limits of todays business models?
- What are the challenges of the global markets for the PV industry?
- How will business of the PV industry look like in 2013? 2015? 2020?
- What company structures will be required?
- What are the critical success factors: political, financial, technological?
- Will the players of tomorrow be globally integrated (PV) companies?
Four overview presentations lead into a moderated panel discussion, focusing on the critical success factors, on strategic, structural, financial and organisational aspects of the future PV industry. The panel is moderated by Melinda Crane, Chief Political Correspondent, Deutsche Welle, Berlin, Germany.
