New support program being launched to encourage broad participation in Ontario’s energy sector

The IESO is launching the Energy Partnerships Program (EPP) to support indigenous communities, co-operatives, municipalities and public sector entities in the participation of Ontario’s energy sector.

The Energy Partnerships Program will consolidate and streamline the following support programs:
• Community Energy Partnerships Program
• Municipal and Public Sector Energy Partnerships Program
• Aboriginal Renewable Energy Fund
• Aboriginal Transmission Fund Program

The final EPP Rules and a summary of changes will be available in mid-June, and the IESO will begin accepting applications by the end of June 2016.
