The startup Raycatch has launched the next-generation of DeepSolar™ – its AI-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, at Intersolar Europe (Munich, Germany). DeepSolar™ is a diagnostic system that enables large-scale PV plant owners and operators to optimize solar assets and maximize their return on investment.

For their innovation, Raycatch Ltd. has been named one of the winners of this year’s Intersolar AWARD. The award honors their pioneering solution for a new energy world – showcased at Intersolar Europe. This is the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry, at which new trends and technologies in the sector are presented within The smarter E Europe, the continent’s largest platform for the energy industry. This year marks the twelfth time that innovative developments have been recognized with the sought-after prize.

“We are very proud of winning this award for DeepSolar 2.0, which is our answer to the challenges PV plant owners and operators face every day. The new developments are based on our extensive expertise in PV software, which have already been implemented in a variety of projects, that in total add up to a volume of 1.5 GW”, explains Haggai Hofland, Raycatch CEO and Founder. “The newly developed features turn DeepSolar into the most innovative SaaS solution, enabling a data-driven automated decision-making process for PV solar plant owners and O&M service providers that will reduce operational costs and enhance the energy production yield of existing solar plants.”

DeepSolar 2.0 comprises features that make it possible to successfully identify and break down all components affecting solar plant performance – and group them back together to create an extensive, coherent picture. The software supports solar plant owners by providing them with comprehensive ROI information and data-driven operational insights. In addition, the diagnostic system can identify the sources behind technical issues, suggest solutions, evaluate costs and make prioritized recommendations based on plant owners' respective needs.
