The global leader in solar modules will be participating in ‘Powering Knowledge,' a new program initiated by the BPVA, designed to implement solar photovoltaic energy solutions on the rooftops of schools across the United Kingdom.

Chairman of the BPVA, Reza Shaybani, remarked, "We are pleased to announce that RECOM Corporation has been selected as an approved module manufacturer for the Powering Knowledge solar school program. RECOM will be supplying participating schools with premium solar modules that will maximize the performance of their solar system and allow them to enjoy the benefits of solar energy."

RECOM is also joined by SMA, Capitas Finance, Renewable Elements and SenseOne. Each group brings its own unique value to the program in the effort to complete each project holistically; from project definition, survey, design, financing, equipment to installation.

RECOM General Manager, Aram Spartalian, stated, "The program will not only make a huge impact to the Education Sector from an economic standpoint but will also subsequently spread knowledge of the importance of energy conservation to the next generation. In order to ensure future sustainability, environmental awareness must start in the classroom. We are giving schools in the U.K. the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of solar energy, while offering an important learning objective for their students."
