Following a call to tender, the highest-quality standards have been achieved for the project: aluminium carports, CE-certified for covering around 120 car spaces and PV modules by SunPower, ensuring the best performance (total installed power 400 kW), elegance and the highest efficiency come from the unique style of Italian design married with the reliability of American technology.
Giulio Barbieri and SunPower, the brands selected and appointed for this important project, will be underlining the already existing synergy between the two companies. Several months ago, an agreement between the Italian carports manufacturing company and the American modules manufacturer, for launching into the market customized PV carports for the residential market, was officially released to the media.
"The whole system has been set up in record time: only one month from the beginning of its construction the plant was already operating," affirms Giulio Barbieri, owner of company Giulio Barbieri, after visiting the building yard. "Such great results have been achieved thanks to our ‘Energy Parking' carports, which are equipped with special cement ballasts to avoid any kind of foundation work."
Mr. Fromaget, Project Manager and Co-ordinator, continues: "The very simple and fast installation of the whole carport system allowed us to comply with the contractual deadlines and to start up the plant in the given time schedule!"
