Solar Power and AMIF sign an alliance in benefit of the solar industry in Mexico

The Mexican Association of the Photovoltaic Industry (AMIF) and the German Deutsche Messe, through its subsidiary in Mexico – Hannover Fairs Mexico – have signed an alliance for Solar Power Mexico. At the international fair, the most advanced solar systems in the industrial and residential sector will be present.

AMIF was founded in Guadalajara in 2013 with the purpose of bringing together key photovoltaic industries within national territory, as well as seeking foreign alliances to make them a common force.

Among AMIF’s objectives is the development and positioning of photovoltaic systems in benefit of the environment, along with ensuring that product and services from each project not only hold the best quality but adhere to the regulations in force.

Solar Power Mexico will be the most specialized event that has taken place in the country. It will be the first B2B event, from March 19-21, held at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. Decision makers and the key companies from the industry will be coming together.

The German Deutsche Messe AG, organizer of the most important industrial fair in the world – Hannover Messe chaired by Jochen Koeckler – will be responsible for bringing Solar Power Mexico to the country in partnership with Sunshine Energy International Limited of Shanghai, China, and Solar Power International, from Virginia in the USA.

Sunshine Energy Limited International organizes the SNEC PV Power Expo, an event of 200,000 m² which attracts more than 2,000 exhibiting companies, and Solar Power International is the organizer of SPI, the largest solar energy fair in North America, with more than 20,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors.

Furthermore, SPI is organized simultaneously with the ESI, which focuses on International Energy Storage, the largest energy storage event in North America.

Solar Power Mexico will exhibit the best of solar thermal technologies; PV technology systems, components and equipment; and grid infrastructure and storage along with information, communication and services.

The event will have the participation of exhibitors from the U.S., China, South America and Europe, as well as manufacturers and distributors from Mexico.

Visitors and decision makers will be able to access the latest technology in cells and solar panels, new technology and tracking systems, as well as traditional power plants. Additionally, those in charge of planning and development, systems and service providers – along with facility experts – will be present.
