Solarmax and CCL begin UK Partnership

Swiss inverter manufacturer SolarMax has expanded its distribution network in the UK.

Swiss inverter manufacturer SolarMax has expanded its distribution network in the UK with a new partnership with specialist PV inverter supplier CCL. From March 2014, CCL will begin taking deliveries of the SolarMax P series and MT series string inverter ranges for distribution to solar PV installers across the UK.

Paul Brooks, Managing Director of CCL, states that: “As CCL is continuing to grow, we wanted to add another high quality, competitive, European manufactured string inverter range into our portfolio, whilst SolarMax was looking to partner with a progressive technical distributor keen to showcase their products. We particularly liked the battery storage upgrade option offered by the SolarMax P series range, providing installers with potential repeat business from the same customer, and end users with a future-proofed inverter.”

Andy Lycett, Wholesale Manager of SolarMax UK, commented that the deal underlines the commitment SolarMax is making to the UK PV market: “SolarMax has undertaken a huge investment in the UK recently. This deal with CCL provides great synergy, and is a signal of intent for 2014 and beyond.”

The deal was finalised last week during the Ecobuild trade fair where SolarMax presented their latest product portfolio.
