The division is one of the world's largest manufacturers of solar control, decorative, safety and security window films for aftermarket automotive and architectural applications.
Additionally, Performance Films manufactures advanced film components for the electronic technology and energy markets.
Ivey most recently served as vice president photovoltaics in Solutia's Advanced Interlayers division. He has been with Solutia since its inception in 1997 and brings more than 25 years of manufacturing, business and leadership expertise to Performance Films.
Previously, he served as vice president of business operations Asia Pacific, where he was instrumental in growing Solutia's presence across Asian markets.
Ivey earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University. He will be based at Solutia's global headquarters in St. Louis.
