Guest will serve as its Vice President of Field Sales. “This high-caliber bench strength – alongside our current leadership – allows us to further leverage our highly-scalable business model and take advantage of market opportunities” said Andrew Birch, CEO, Sungevity.

In a newly-created position, Guest oversees the company’s outside sales functions as VP, reporting directly to COO David Dunlap. Guest was most recently Director of East Coast Sales at Verengo Solar Plus, where he launched and developed Verengo’s east coast expansion.

Prior to Verengo, he held a range of progressive executive roles in the financial space spanning the past twenty years. An award-winning executive with advanced degrees in Business from both the York College of Pennsylvania and the University of Pennsylvania, he brings 15+ years of Fortune 500 experience to the company, ranging from strategic planning to new business development to channel development.

This announcement is the latest in a series of corporate developments at Sungevity, including:

• An exclusive national partnership with The Sierra Club, the nation’s largest environmental organization, to help families go solar easily and affordably with incentives for new customers, and

• A joint venture partnership with Nickel Energy to form Sungevity Australia, a new company that will provide Australian homeowners with the first ever pay-as-you-go solar option.
