Being the youngest, most aggressive generator in the clean energy space, and largest player in the solar segment in the country this positive reinforcement towards our commitment towards excellence and quality is indeed heartening!
To add yet another feather in our cap, the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) that we were following on our sustainability initiatives has now been made mandatory in the Companies Act.
It indeed is a proud day for us! Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vineet Mittal, Vice Chairman WREPL, said Welspun Renewables has so far built more than 600 MW of solar & wind energy capacity on-ground and of this 328 MW (DC) is already operational. The companys strength has been in not only commissioning plants ahead of schedule but also ensuring they are amongst the highest CUF (capacity utilization factor) generators in the country.
