Photovoltaic module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd. from Taiwan introduces retroactively as of January 1st 2013 the extension of its product warranty for the WSP series from 10 to 12 years. The WSP series consists of the excellent monocrystalline QUANTUM modules (270-290 watt), the monocrystalline standard modules (250-260 watt), the polycrystalline standard modules (245-260 watt) as well as the polycrystalline Blackline series (190-205 watt).
The new warranty terms amend the linear performance guarantee that WINAICO already introduced at the beginning of 2012. The linear performance guarantee over 25 years ensures a performance of at least 97 % of rated performance in the first year. For the following 24 years, WINAICO guarantees a maximum drop in performance of 0.7 % annually. With the extension of its product warranty, WINAICO now provides its customers even more security. The product warranty is effective in case of defects which result from material or production faults and affect the correct operation of the modules.

In addition to the manufacturer warranties, WINAICO customers can benefit from the unique 3in1 insurance package. Furthermore, the operator has the option of extending the insurance coverage by an additional 8 years, to a total of maximum 10 years.
