Yorkshire Racecourse fitted with Winaico solar modules

More than 200 PV modules installed

Winaico, a subsidiary of Taiwan´s biggest photovoltaic module manufacturer Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd., has been chosen as module supplier for a PV system at Beverley Racecourse. The modules were installed by Winaico´s specialist partner Think Renewable Energy.
Beverley´s 300-year-old racecourse is now looking ahead to a sustainable future following the installation of a state of the art 50 kW scheme featuring more than 200 Winaico solar panels.
“The scheme will protect the racecourse from future energy price rises and will generate more than £5k in feed in tariff income in the first year. It will also prevent 22 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year“, says Jamie Warden, Operations Director at Think Renewable Energy. “We decided to use Winaico panels, because of their excellent quality and reliability“, he continued.
