Ensuring quality assurance and exploring best practice solutions within a cost pressure environment

For the economics of a subsidy free solar array to pencil out, component and system quality is a key concern. But with razor-thin margins, how can quality be assured? The Quality Roundtable will examine both the importance of quality assurance on subsidy free PV projects, along with technological case studies.

Quality Case Studies at a glance:

  1. Investigating poor soldering quality in modules – does auditing save money?
  2. Glass-glass modules are gaining market share – are they really more reliable?
  3. The dispute over direct burial of cables – what is the technical best practice?
  4. Inverters service void – what expectations about manufacturer service are fair and justified?
