New inverter technology and O&M insights: service optimization and cost reduction

View Webinar Video

Achieving the best balance between cost and performance is the key point when planning and operating a solar PV power plant. In this pv magazine Webinar, our partner Ingeteam will introduce its new central inverter; the Ingecon Sun 3Power C Series. Alongside high-power density and a closed-circuit liquid cooling system previously only available in Ingeteam’s power converters for other applications, the inverter is packed with artificial intelligence and other features that promise to optimize O&M services and bring down costs across the full lifetime of a PV system – and these will be the focus of our webinar discussion.

New inverter technology and O&M insights: service optimization and cost reduction

Inverter monitoring already forms the backbone of many solar O&M strategies. And as techniques are advanced and refined, predictive, corrective and preventive measures are increasingly able to reduce both the occurrence of failures and their impact. At the same time, new inverters are being equipped with more tools than ever to present monitoring and remote control options. This pv magazine Webinar will present a new inverter from Ingeteam, and delve into the valuable O&M service optimizations and more that such solutions make possible.

Vicente Aguilar, Solar Pre-Sales Department Director – Energy & Grids Division at Ingeteam, will first present Ingeteam’s new central inverter., including ratings, specifications, and new features. The Ingecon Sun 3Power C Series commands high power density, a closed-circuit liquid cooling system – seen for the first time in a solar inverter, and thoughtful considerations to optimize O&M services across the lifetime of a PV system.

Daniel Sanchez, International PV O&M Coordinator- Service Division at Ingeteam, will present insights from his experience in O&M projects across the world, including O&M service optimization and cost reductions. Sanchez will get into the detail of O&M, as technological advances continue to improve, but more consideration than ever goes into the lifetime costs of repair, maintenance, and necessary outages. Sanchez will reinforce the current tendency to perform O&M during the EPC warranty stage from third parties, as Ingeteam in this case, and extending these contracts up to 20 years, giving the comfortability to Customers leaving their assets to expertise O&M providers.
