The novel solution, called SigenStor, consists of a battery pack, a battery power conversion system (PCS), a solar inverter, an EV Charger, and an energy management system (EMS). Its developer, Sigenergy, says the system has a modular and stackable design and can be connected in parallel to meet different capacity needs. It’s compatible with both home and business, off and on-grid scenarios, with capacity ranging from 5 kWh to 480 kWh.
Via a bi-directional DC charging module, SigenStor is also able to fully charge an EV in three hours. It supports both V2H and V2G modes. Mr. Zhang joined Sigenergy in 2023 and led the global sales and solutions team. Sigenergy aims to develop versatile energy storage solutions that are accessible to everyone. Previously, he held the position of Vice President at Huawei Ascend AI Business starting in 2020. During his time there, he led global marketing, GTM, and solutions, introducing a comprehensive all-scenario AI platform to the industry. His association with Huawei began in 2016 as the Marketing Director for the Japan & Korea Region in Huawei Smart PV Business. Through collaborative efforts, his team achieved an impressive 2nd market share in the region. Mr. Zhang is a graduate of the University of Manchester, holding a master’s degree.
