JinkoSolar establishes Swiss subsidiary

Operations at JinkoSolar (Switzerland) AG commenced in Zug, Switzerland, earlier this month.

The company says that in being there it hopes to reinforce its global presence and expand its European operational capabilities. A spokesperson for the company told pv magazine that around 10 new jobs have been created.

"The Zug region has a stellar reputation due to its favorable business climate, and we are looking forward to establishing operations in this region to enhance our customers' experiences in the European market," commented chairman Xiande Li.

JinkoSolar has two other European subsidiaries, in Munich, Germany and Bologna, Italy, in addition to its Chinese headquarters and a U.S. office. Furthermore, it has two Chinese manufacturing facilities, located in Jiangxi Province and Zhejiang.
