Juwi sells 5.79 MW PV park to Plain Energy

Germany-based juwi has sold a 5.79 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic park in the Czech Republic to Plain Energy. The financial details were not disclosed.

The park, which consists of three separate systems, was grid connected last December.
A total of 4.8 MW are installed at the sites Hostovice I + II, which lies around 130 kilometers east of Prague. Meanwhile, nearby in Trebovice, a further 997.5 kilowatts are installed. Overall, 77,300 First Solar thin film modules have been used in the project.
In a statement released, it was said that Constantin Schwab, managing director of Plain Energy GmbH, considers the purchase of the power plants an important step towards pan-European diversification.
