Following on from last month’s announcement that Flour Corporation had been selected to provide the EPC and operation and maintenance services for the photovoltaic power plant project to be develop and owned by Centinela Solar Energy, Yingli has now announced that it will supply the modules.

The project will be developed over two stages, worth 125 MW and 45 MW, and is expected to be completed by 2014. San Diego Gas & Electric will purchase the electricity it produces under a 20 year PPA.

Liansheng Miao, chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy, said in statement announcing the deal, "We recognize that our announcement of the largest project in Yingli's history comes during a challenging time in the global solar industry. Our team remains dedicated to its core business, and we are honored to continue delivering these remarkable results."
