Feed-in tariffs: Japan’s slight reductions came into effect, but they will not slow the boom. Ontario is conducting a price review on its very generous FITs. And Queensland, Australia, has slashed its incentive scheme.

Australia On March 22, the Queensland Competition Authority released its Final Report on the solar FITs, recommending electricity retailer payments of between AU$0.0706/kWh (US$0.0728) and AU$0.1405/kWh (US$0.1450), with residents of the capital, Brisbane, receiving AU$0.0755/kWh (US$0.0779).
