Enovos Renewables O&M GmbH has taken over the control room and the operations & maintenance business of Skytron Energy. The move will strengthen Enovos’ O&M business for PV plants in Germany.
The acquisition of the control room, including its three employees, represents a huge gain for the company, Enovos spokesperson, Stephan Oberhauser told pv magazine. After the acquisition, Enovos has around 600 MW of PV plants in Germany, 200 MW of which were acquired from Skytron.
The two companies are looking to increase their cooperation further in future PV projects, according to an announcement released on Tuesday.
Oberhauser said that while there is no contractually agreed obligation stating this, Enovos will utilize Skytron’s monitoring systems to monitor its large-scale portfolio, while Skytron will rely more on Enovos to provide O&M services.
