Anker SOLIX has announced the UK and Ireland launch of an all-in-one home battery energy storage system with integrated inverters, Anker SOLIX XE. It brings energy freedom made simple. The design of the XE removes the barriers that have kept home energy storage from the mainstream and brings energy freedom within reach of households across the UK and Ireland.

Compact design for flexibility

The Anker SOLIX XE integrates a 7 kWh battery with the inverter in a single unit, using a method that eliminates the need for external wiring between inverter, battery pack, and BMS.

The system features three MPPTs that support from 4 to 33 solar panels and up to 15 kW of solar input, generating up to 15,000 kWh per year. Each XE unit contains 7 kWh of built-in storage, and a single string can be expanded up to 42 kWh (six modules). To cover all home sizes, up to three XE units can operate in parallel for a total system capacity of 126 kWh.

Anker SOLIX offers three inverter options for the XE. The 8 kW inverter option covers the vast majority of single-phase household peak load demands, including EV charging scenarios. The product line also includes 5 kW and 6 kW inverter options.

High performance with a long-life

The Anker SOLIX XE features 314 Ah LFP cells, supports 10,000 charge-discharge cycles, and includes a 10-year warranty, enabling consumers to maximize their savings without sacrificing system reliability.

While conventional home batteries typically complete one charge-discharge cycle per day, the XE supports two full cycles daily. The first cycle stores daytime solar generation and discharges during the evening peak; the second cycle charges from the grid during off-peak night rates and discharges for early morning consumption. This means a single 7 kWh XE can deliver the equivalent of 14 kWh of usable value per day.

Reliable backup power

The XE is designed to support both whole-home backup and partial backup modes, allowing customers to choose between protecting all circuits or only priority loads. Maximum backup power reaches 16 kW (in parallel configuration), comfortably covering full household demand. With C5-M corrosion resistance and IP66 weatherproofing, the XE is also rated for marine and outdoor installation, operating across a temperature range of -20 C to 55 C.

The XE can work seamlessly with the Anker SOLIX Backup Auto-Switch to deliver a whole-home backup with load-side 0 ms seamless switchover time when the grid drops. The Backup Auto-Switch saves 99% of distribution board space compared to conventional ATS (automatic transfer switch) units and reduces costs by approximately 80% from the industry average.

Intelligent energy management, easy installation

The built-in Al EMS, powered by Anker PowerOS and featuring an integrated assistant, connects to over 870 electricity suppliers across Europe, predicting household energy needs, charging the XE system battery when wholesale electricity prices are low, and discharging when prices are at peak.

Thanks to its stackable design, installers simply lift, align, and lower the XE modules into place without the need for cables.

The Anker SOLIX XE is available in the UK and Ireland via authorized installers.
