Scaling up in Brazil
The 752 MW (AC) Assú Sol solar complex in northeastern Brazil is the largest operational PV project in multinational energy company Engie’s global portfolio. Ireland’s PV capacity reaches 3 GW

Sungrow breaks ground on 10 GWh battery storage factory in Egypt
Sungrow has begun construction of a $50 million BESS factory in Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone, targeting 10 GWh of annual production and an April 2027 start. The facility will supply Egypt’s growing storage market, including Scatec’s Energy Valley project, while strengthening Sungrow’s localized manufacturing presence across the Middle East and Africa.
