Kiwa, an international leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), has signed a partnership agreement with ExTEL, a leading independent field inspection and consultancy company active in the Solar downstream industry in the Asia-Pacific region. ExTEL offers dedicated services for PV assets owners, project developers, EPC companies, insurances, and international consulting firms. As a shareholder, Kiwa is investing in ExTEL’s growth as a new member of the Kiwa Group. The companies will collaborate to advance their brand’s positioning for field inspection and consultancy services for Solar downstream stakeholders, both in the region and globally.

Fred Chen, General Manager of ExTEL ENERGY, said: “We are delighted to join the Kiwa Group. Kiwa shares the same business model and customer-first business values in Testing, Inspection and Certification. ExTEL is already well-known for providing innovative solutions for the downstream PV market in the Asia-Pacific region. As a part of the Kiwa family, we can use Kiwa’s global business network and expertise and ExTEL’s expert knowledge and colleagues to bring high quality, high performance, and increased valuation services to all of our stakeholders.”

Paul Hesselink, CEO of Kiwa, said: “Kiwa already has a strong footprint in the Solar and Energy Storage markets in Europe, the US and increasingly in Asia. Our partnership with ExTEL Energy significantly expands our reach, expertise and footprint in renewables, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Now that we have welcomed ExTEL to the Kiwa family, we can even better provide our customers a one-stop shop for testing, inspection and data services that de-risk their solar and energy storage projects. In doing so, we partner with them to ensure a sustainable future for all of us.”
