Italy: Conergy in-roof system “Complete 200” eligible for highest feed-in tariff

With this classification, the Conergy complete in-roof system officially fulfils the high requirements of the tariff class for innovative integrated photovoltaic plants (“fotovoltaico integrato innovativo”) in Italy. The frameless black laminates blend elegantly into the roof surface, replacing the conventional roof tiles. Thanks to the specially developed and patented mounting system with overlapping construction, the Complete 200 forms the water-carrying roof layer. Water channels and seals underneath ensure that the plant not only produces power, but also provides reliable resistance to wind and weather – even in hurricane conditions.

Not only does the in-roof system look elegant and sophisticated, it also delivers plenty of power while being able to withstand hurricane winds and heavy snow loads. This has been calculated in numerous simulations and proven at the French testing centre CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment), the French equivalent of the German TÜV, in wind tunnel tests at speeds of up to 200 km/h. The customer enjoys all-round protection through the system warranty, which covers modules, inverters and mounting system for 10 years.

“The currently valid Italian solar feed-in scheme as well as the upcoming ‘Conto Energia V’, which is still being debated at the moment, focus on small and medium-sized rooftop plants and in-roof systems in particular,” said Guiseppe Sofia, Head of Conergy Italy. “We have been working successfully in this segment for many years already and recognised the trend onto the roof early on. Not only does Conergy have the necessary knowhow in this area, it also has the right product and service portfolio to provide the customer with an all-round worry-free package.”

The Conergy Complete 200 provides solar with built-in extra value. Not only does the in-roof solution combine high-quality and high-performance components, it is also complemented by the matching “software” – i.e. comprehensive services that are tailored to the particular customer’s requirements. The online planning tool “Conergizer” enables the installer to plan the Complete 200 efficiently on the ground and then install it equally simply and quickly on the roof. Thanks to a snap-in system with custom-fit rails, assembly is effected without requiring any screws or tools, saving the installer a great deal of time.
