Monocrystal unveils a new back-side silver solution to PERC

Monocrystal announced the release of its new MY-655 back-side silver metallization paste for Passivated Emitter Rear Contact (PERC) solar cells.

MY-655 was specially developed to address the current market demand for high-efficiency products, and features up to 0.05% efficiency gain. The paste has 7% lower consumption rate than that of our previous MY-series paste and does not damage the passivation layer, all while providing higher cell reliability.

“Our new paste meets our customers’ main demand for increased efficiency. Additionally, MY-655 delivers stable adhesion of more than 2N, which provides higher cell reliability,” commented Viacheslav Golovin, CTO of Monocrystal Pastes Division.
