New contract signed for 10 MW, for grid parity in Italy

The other signatory to the contract was one of Italy’s top energy producers, including of renewable sources (and therefore not a party related to the issuer). The agreement has a total value of about €4.7 million and will last until 31 December 2020, unless the parties choose to extend it.
The contract is of particular importance to Enertronica Santerno because it will allow the company to place new technical and commercial solutions on the market. It is an innovative contract, not a traditional EPC one. Under it, everything is carried out for the client, from designs and authorisation to researching and getting contracts for the land.
From a technical point of view, Enertronica Santerno will be first in Italy to install new refined solutions to improve photovoltaic services, with a view to grid parity. Add to this the design and construction of Smart Solution areas within the plants, designed to store energy, which will allow for peak demand management throughout the useful life of the plants.

Through its subsidiary Progetti International S.p.A., the company’s plan is to realise this model in Italy, to produce about 500 MW over three years. By signing this agreement, the Group is showing its belief in the positive expectations for the renewable energy market in Italy.
