Poland's largest PV farm developer has announced that it has secured a portfolio of PV projects with a total capacity of as much as 299 MWp in auctions held between 8 and 11 June 2021. The projects were awarded 15-year differential contracts, providing them with a guaranteed level of electricity selling prices. The PV farms, located throughout Poland, will be commissioned by 2023 at the latest.

“Our current strategy is based on building our own portfolio of solar farms as an independent power producer. After winning the auction, our own portfolio will increase to 471 MWp, which brings us significantly closer to our medium-term goal of 1 GWp of power in the European Union” says Przemek Pięta, CEO and co-founder of R.Power.

Over the past several months, R.Power has obtained record project financing of PLN 530 million. In June this year, it has come up with a programme to issue green bonds with a total nominal value of up to PLN 1 billion. Bonds with a total nominal value of PLN 150 million were issued under the first series.
