The dual certification demonstrates that the PC-G2 Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System meets stringent European standards for grid compatibility, operational safety, and grid-connection performance. It further strengthens WHES’s readiness to expand across Europe’s demanding energy storage markets.

The award ceremony was jointly attended by Mr. Wu Yu, Vice President of WHES, and Mr. Bai Chengli, Vice President of Renewable Energy Sales and Business Development at DEKRA China.

The two certifications are highly recognized across the European energy storage industry. The PTPIREE V1.3 WOS:2025-05 certification represents one of Poland’s most recent and stringent grid compliance standards, imposing rigorous requirements for transient response, frequency stability, low- and high-voltage ride-through capabilities (LVRT/HVRT), and remote power control. Meanwhile, Belgium’s C10/C11:2024 certification is known for its demanding testing procedures under diverse operating conditions, with a strong emphasis on grid adaptability, power quality, and control performance.

Achieving both certifications demonstrates the advanced technical capabilities and reliability of WHES’s PC-G2 Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System. It also strengthens the company’s ability to support compliant project deployment and accelerate business expansion across key European energy storage markets.

As WHES’s flagship Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage solution, the PC-G2 combines advanced safety, flexible scalability, and intelligent energy management capabilities. The system is powered by CATL 306Ah high-safety battery cells and WHES’s self-developed high-efficiency PCS (Power Conversion System). Its modular AC/DC architecture supports a wide range of storage durations from 2 to 8 hours and enables parallel connection of up to six units, delivering a maximum system capacity of 1.5 MW / 3 MWh.

Safety is a core feature of the PC-G2. The system has obtained UL9540A certification and integrates a comprehensive three-layer fire protection architecture covering early detection, suppression, and isolation. In addition, its innovative wall-mounted liquid-cooling design minimizes installation footprint while eliminating the need for manual coolant refilling, reducing maintenance requirements throughout the product lifecycle. With operating noise levels below 65 dB, the PC-G2 is well suited for deployment across diverse commercial and industrial applications.

Powered by WHES’s self-developed WHES OS intelligent energy management platform, the PC-G2 continuously optimizes charging and discharging strategies to maximize system performance and economic returns. It supports a wide range of applications, including peak shaving and valley filling, dynamic capacity expansion, and fast frequency response. Even under challenging grid conditions characterized by voltage fluctuations and frequency deviations, the system maintains stable, efficient, and reliable operation.

At the certification ceremony, Mr. Bai Chengli, Vice President of Renewable Energy Sales and Business Development at DEKRA China, stated:

“The successful attainment of both Polish and Belgian grid-connection certifications reflects

WHES’s strong technological capabilities and commitment to meeting the stringent requirements of European energy markets. These achievements further reinforce the company’s competitiveness in highly regulated regions and demonstrate the reliability of its energy storage solutions. We look forward to continuing our cooperation and seeing WHES deliver safe, efficient, intelligent, and adaptable energy storage technologies to customers around the world.”

Mr. Wu Yu, Vice President of WHES, commented:

“Obtaining both the Polish and Belgian grid-connection certifications is an important milestone for WHES and a strong validation of the PC-G2’s safety, reliability, and grid-support capabilities. These certifications not only enhance our ability to serve customers in key European markets, but also reinforce our commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant energy storage solutions worldwide. Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen our cooperation with DEKRA, leveraging internationally recognized certification frameworks to advance technological innovation and support the sustainable development of the global clean energy industry.”

From full-stack in-house technology development to globally recognized certifications, WHES remains committed to innovation as its core driving force. Looking ahead, the company will continue strengthening its presence in Europe by providing more efficient, safer, and smarter energy storage solutions, supporting the global transition toward a cleaner and more intelligent energy future.
