Aster Capital leads financing round for SolarFuel Venture capital firm Aster Capital, sponsored by Alstom, Solvay Rhodia and Schneider Electric, has announced a €4 million investment in SolarFuel GmbH. This is part of a €7.5 million financing round that Aster Capital is leading. The investment round includes Ventrex Automotive GmbH from Austria.

PG&E launches Green Button Connect As a part of its plan to facilitate better demand-side management of electricity usage, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has launched its Green Button Connect system. The software aims at providing electricity usage data to customers and to solar installers, to allow for more integrated photovoltaic and demand-side electricity solutions.
