How does AlphaESS’s long-term experience in Europe shape what it is showing at ees Europe?
Yuan: AlphaESS entered Europe early, with Germany as one of our key markets from the beginning. For us, the value of this experience is not only being early, but learning early: how installers work, how customers think about safety and service, and how storage systems perform year after year in real homes.
Today, Europe needs storage that is practical, safe and built for long-term value. Customers are moving from standalone products to integrated solutions that can reduce costs, support renewables, respond to complex tariffs and work reliably in different scenarios. This market understanding helps AlphaESS design products that fit Europe better, work more closely with local partners, and support needs from C&I storage to utility-scale projects and smarter energy management. It also shapes how we present TB150, Aster 6260 and AlphaConnect this year.
How does STORION-LC-TB150 address real C&I needs in Europe?
Yuan: For C&I customers, storage is not just about buying a battery. Think about a factory manager: the system may sit near a workshop or office. It has to reduce costs and protect operations without creating new noise, safety or installation problems. TB150 is therefore designed around site-friendly operation, proven safety and value. Full-liquid cooling keeps operation around 60 dB(A), roughly the level of normal conversation. It meets unit-level UL 9540A fire safety performance criteria, with multi-layer protection and combustible gas detection. With intelligent EMS control, cell-level active balancing and up to 12,000 cycles, TB150 supports solar self-consumption, energy trading and scalable deployment.

What role does Aster 6260 play in AlphaESS’s utility-scale storage portfolio?
Yuan: With Aster 6260, AlphaESS is taking a stronger role in Europe’s utility-scale market. We see this demand. In the Czech Republic, AlphaESS is supporting a 320 MWh stand-alone BESS project across Chvaletice and Kladno, designed for frequency regulation and grid ancillary services.
Such projects show that large-scale storage is becoming infrastructure. Project owners care about more than capacity: land use, safety, availability, O&M and long-term value all matter. Aster 6260 is designed for higher energy density, smaller footprint, liquid cooling and easier operation, helping storage assets become reliable, efficient and valuable over time.
Why is software and open connectivity becoming more important for energy storage?
Yuan: Software matters because a battery should not sit there waiting to be used. With dynamic tariffs, VPP programmes and energy service models, it needs to know when to charge, when to discharge and when to create value from the market.
AlphaConnect is the layer that connects batteries with users, partners and energy markets. Today, it connects AlphaESS batteries with over 100 energy partners and platforms, more than 100,000 connected systems across 12 countries, and can typically complete a new integration within four weeks. For partners, that speed means capturing market opportunities instead of missing them. This is how storage becomes visible, controllable and valuable.
What message does AlphaESS want to share with European customers and partners?
Yuan: We came to Europe years ago with one product; early systems still run in homes today. Now we bring a broader system: C&I storage, utility-scale storage and software. Our vision is to serve 100 million people with smarter, cleaner energy, and Europe is where it starts.
