The Series C round was led by incoming financial investor BGF, a UK-based investment company alongside US-based investors, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and Eaton Corporation, which will contribute strategic value to Reactive Technologies to support its international growth.

Reactive Technologies has created the world’s first and only grid inertia direct measurement solution via their unique and patented solution GridMetrix equipping Transmission System Operators and Distribution Network Operators with the ability to measure grid inertia and system stability in real time enabling greater stability, efficiency and safety in grids as they transition to Net Zero.

“We were very impressed by the high caliber investors Apricum brought to us as well as their transaction expertise and deep understanding of the power grid industry and its technical complexities. Their professionalism and dedicated support throughout the entire process were instrumental in concluding this fundraising round so successfully.” said Marc Borrett, CEO of Reactive Technologies.

“We are very happy to have facilitated this successful funding round for Reactive Technologies. Reactive has developed a world first with their innovative grid inertia measurement technology, critical to enabling greater uptake of renewable energy into the grid, which is of course a vital enabler of the clean energy transition,” said Nikolai Dobrott, Apricum managing partner. “After our comprehensive global investor search, we have found, with this consortium of astute investors, the right partners to support Reactive in their exciting next phase of growth as this important technology is rolled out around the world.”

The successful completion of this Series C funding round is further recognition of Reactive Technologies’ unique capability and sizeable international market opportunity after a strategic investment from Accenture Ventures and a strategic alliance with them was announced in December 2020.
