FuturaSun participates at SNEC, the international photovoltaic fair held in Shanghai June 2-5, 2021

The exhibition scale of SNEC has evolved from 15,000 sqm in 2007 to over 150,000 sqm in 2020 when, despite the pandemic, the fair attracted over 1400 exhibiting companies from 95 countries and regions all over the world. This year, on an area of 200,000 square meters, 2000 exhibitors, 260,000 visitors and 5000 conference participants are expected. Important prevention and safety measures will be implemented to ensure the health of exhibitors and visitors.

After the success of last year, FuturaSun participates again this year, for the second time, to present in preview new versions of modules of all product series with new powers and new sizes.

For the very first time the SILK® Premium module will be shown; this new module is characterized by 150 cells of wafer size 210 mm, 1/3 cut configuration and a power output 500 Wp which make the panel particularly interesting for utility scale systems.

The second new entry in the Silk Series is SILK® Plus, designed both for utility scale systems with a power of 550 Watt in the 144-cell version with wafer size 182 mm as well as for residential systems in the smaller version with 108 half-cut cells (182 mm) which reaches 21,25% efficiency on a dimension of 1722 x 1134 mm.

The glass-glass panel DUETTO changes size and output power and becomes DUETTO Pro with 166 mm half-cut cells and a power of 440 Watt in the 144-cell version. Duetto is a monocrystalline module, featuring a dual-glass structure and 120/144 half-cut cells (360-440 Watt). The transparency between cells and the black frame (30 mm high) make it the ideal solution in places where photovoltaic solutions are also an architectural element. The module enhances the value and power of glass as a structural material. Two coupled sheets (2 mm) of tempered glass ensure maximum mechanical stability and excellent resistance and durability

The high-end ZEBRA panel is presented in its new version with bigger 166 mm half-cut IBC cells with a power of 395 Watt. ZEBRA is a monocrystalline photovoltaic module with IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) technology based on N-Type wafers. The electrical contacts are on the back: no ribbons, nothing that covers the cell, no shade, maximum light absorption. This new technology is currently reaching 395 Watt with a 21.3% module efficiency in the version with white back sheet. Furthermore, important characteristics are its low-temperature coefficient (-0.3%/ °C), which adds 3% of power in average operating conditions and its improved low light performance.

Below. some additional information about the three series:

ZEBRA

ZEBRA is a monocrystalline photovoltaic module with IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) technology based on N-Type wafers. The electrical contacts are on the back: no ribbons, nothing that covers the cell, no shade, maximum light absorption. This new technology is currently reaching 395 Watt with a 21.3% module efficiency in the version with the white back sheet. Furthermore, important characteristics are its low-temperature coefficient (-0.3%/ °C), which adds 3% of power in average operating conditions and its improved low light performance.

Duetto PRO

Duetto is a monocrystalline module, featuring a dual-glass structure and 120 and 144 half-cut cells (360-440 Watt). The transparency between cells and the black frame (30 mm high) make it the ideal solution in places where photovoltaic solutions are also an architectural element. The module enhances the value and power of glass as a structural material. Two coupled sheets (2 mm) of tempered glass ensure maximum mechanical stability and excellent resistance and durability.

SILK® Plus & Premium

The monocrystalline Silk ® Plus module features multi-busbar half-cut PERC cells. A key feature of the new module is its power; in fact, it reaches up to 550 Watts. The new module further confirms an excellent thermal coefficient and excellent yields even in the event of partial shading on the surface. This is because the module is made up of two independent sections.
