Government of Saint Lucia issues invitation for bids for the supply of photovoltaic systems

The Government of Saint Lucia has announced its intention to reduce energy consumption in the public sector by 20 percent by the year 2020.

To assist in this regard, funding has been received from the Republic of China (Taiwan) for the “Sustainable Energy in Saint Lucia: From Concept to Action Project.” A key component of this project is the installation of photovoltaic systems on suitable public buildings.

The Department of Sustainable Development therefore invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of two 25kWp photovoltaic (PV) systems as part of a strategy to incorporate sustainable energy into the public sector.
