Convergence at the utility scale

PV power plants: The concept of convergence is well established within the technology sector. At the utility and large commercial and industrial (C&I) level, BOS provider Padcon and Jurchen Technology have announced a new partnership to bring together their offerings to plant developers, from the mounting structures up to cabling. This type of offering is well established in the U.S., but can it cut through in Europe and even allow the two companies to expand internationally? pv magazine spoke to Jurchen’s Michael Jurchen and Padcon’s Constantin Wenzlik.
