Amazon, Nadara switch on 277 MW agricoltaic facility in Italy
Nadara has completed the 227 MW Big Fish agrivoltaic project in Sicily, backed by a 156 MW PPA with Amazon and described by the developer as Italy’s largest agrivoltaic facility. The 400-hectare project was approved with a 20 MW/40 MWh battery energy storage system.

Corsica Sole has commissioned a 150 kW green hydrogen facility at its 12 MW Folelli solar plant in Corsica to convert otherwise-curtailed solar power into hydrogen. The facility can produce around 20 kg of hydrogen per day and store up to 230 kg for use in maritime transport and other local applications.

Jordan's Shams Maan project receives grant boost
A grant agreement between the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) and Jordan-based Kawar Energy for USD$617,204 has been signed. The agreement will allow the feasibility of the Shams Maan project – expected to be one of the worlds largest photovoltaic (PV) power plants – to be examined.
