Envision Solar International, Inc., the leading renewable energy, media and branding and EV charging product company, announced today that its CEO, Desmond Wheatley, has been selected to give the keynote address to a group of Chinese investors and entrepreneurs looking for growth companies in the US. Envision Solar was selected because of its cutting edge technology and its tremendous potential for scaling on a global basis. During the last six months, Envision has opened an office in Europe and executed two agreements with Chinese entities to sell the Company's products in that region. The Chinese audience is attending the conference as part of a delegation sponsored by Chinese trade organizations to explore investment possibilities in rapidly growing companies that have potential in the US, global and Chinese markets.

"I appreciate the honor of being selected to present the keynote speech at this event," said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Envision Solar. "This is a great audience as China is potentially one of our biggest markets in the future. I believe that the rapid adoption of EVs intended by the Chinese government will be very hard to achieve without solutions like our patented solar powered rapidly deployable EV ARC. My recent trip to China was an eye-opener. The need for our products is very real and the opportunity could easily be as big as the US or EU is for us."

According to Stanley Wang, Editor of Li-ion Battery E-News, "China's willingness to pour money into the EV market has never been in doubt. What is different is that the Government is making sure that the money is being spent more efficiently."

The flurry of government announcements has sent the stock prices of charging providers soaring in recent weeks. On September 22, the shares of Qingdao Tgood Electric Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Zhongheng Electric Co., Ltd., Shanghai Potevio Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Wanma Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Auto Electric Power Plant Co., Ltd. all hit the 10 percent daily limit for price rises, and have continued rising since then, with all these companies hitting the daily limit again on October 8.

Envision's EV ARC™ products are fully transportable and deployed efficiently in minutes, without any impact to the location. The products produce enough solar power each day for up to 150 miles of electric driving and store up to 34kWh of energy for charging at night or to be used in times of utility grid failure. Because they require no other support infrastructure, they can be deployed in very large volumes and faster than grid tied chargers.

The China Invests in America Forum is sponsored by the China-US Chamber of Commerce in New York City and will be attended by leading American and Chinese investors, bankers, and corporate leaders, many who have traveled from China to discuss possible investments in the US and joint venture opportunities in China.
