Ginlong Technologies (Ginlong) has released its new commercial solar inverter to the North America solar market. The Ginlong GCI-10K is a three-phase, transformerless, grid-tied string inverter, representing the next generation inverter innovations. Ginlong GCI-10K is an ideal solution for the commercial distributed solar generation.

Ginlong GCI-10K is designed with the latest Silicon Carbide (SiC) power semiconductor technology from the start of design cycle. Together with transformerless topology, GCI-10K realizes high efficiency (Peak Efficiency 98%) and power density, inherently high reliability, and cost savings while maintaining the light weight and compact design ( 88 lbs) for ease of installation.

Ginlong also brings an unique wind inverter feature of ultra wide input voltage range (300V – 800V) to GCI-10K solar inverter, allowing for design flexibility and long daily operation hours.

GCI-10K has dual MPP trackers and maximum three strings per MPPT, which optimize the power production especially in the shaded environment. The other advanced features of GCI-10K consist of RS485 and Wi-Fi communications, fan-less technology, and web-based data monitoring.

With over 10 years of experience operating inverters in harsh wind environments, coming to the solar industry, Ginlong inverters are RELIABLE, FLEXIBLE, INNOVATIVE, and AFFORDABLE. GCI-10K has one of the best performance-cost ratios in the world for this product class. SiC enabled GCI-10K solar inverter could help encourage broader commercial solar installations in North America.
