Renusol America donations to benefit solar installer training across the country

The company has donated its popular Renusol CS60 mounting solution for hands-on-training purposes to solar installer lab classes at the Solar Energy International training program in Colorado, the Boots on the Roof program in California and New Jersey, and the Solairgen program in Georgia.

Renusol America’s CS60 is the first ever ‘one unit per one PV panel’ mounting unit for flat roof installations. It is a 100% recycled plastic-base–—and is fully recyclable. The Renusol CS60 provides several solutions developed specifically for the US solar market. The pre-molded unit has fewer and lighter parts, which means less labor-intensive installations and more profitable business opportunities for solar installers.

The design of the CS60 incorporates the latest groundbreaking boundary layer wind tunnel study in accordance to ASCE 7-05 and, with its flexible panel layout possibilities; the system can address varying wind and load conditions across a rooftop.

The units were also designed with a specific aerodynamic shape and with the material strength needed to withstand the wide range of climatic conditions—extreme temperatures, ice and snow– and other natural forces that exist across the U.S. They can either be ballasted or attached to the roof in areas where hurricanes/tornados and earthquakes pose a threat.
