SolarWorld AG has developed a new complete photovoltaic system for the French market. The Toit Solaire IAB modules are integrated directly into the roof and replace the original roof cover. The system meets all requirements for roof-integrated photovoltaic systems (Intégration Au Bâti/IAB). In France, the maximum feed-in tariff of €27.37 cents/kWh (July – Sept. 2014) will be paid for fully-integrated systems that are primarily installed on the rooftops of private homes.

The complete system comprises individual photovoltaic system components from leading manufacturers. Here, SolarWorld is partnering with two French mounting system manufacturers that offer special systems for the integration of photovoltaic systems directly into the roof. The Made in Germany modules are manufactured at the SolarWorld production facility in Freiberg and fulfill the highest of quality standards. In addition to the inverter, the Toit Solaire IAB includes a bunch of extras: system monitoring with the Suntrol online portal, comprehensive system documentation with Sunpass and special insurance.

“We have gathered the market leaders of the industry together with the Toit Solaire IAB complete system. System operators are receiving a truly high-quality product while simultaneously profiting from the highest possible feed-in compensation,” explains Gérald Semenjuk, Managing Director of SolarWorld France.

SolarWorld plans to expand its market position in France with this new system and extend the offer for private rooftop systems. The Toit Solaire IAB is available immediately.
