JA Solar and Solarhybrid enter into module supply agreement

The Allstedt I solar power plant is projected to generate 19,030,000 kWh of electricity annually over a 20-year service period. The power plan is scheduled to be conneczed to the grid and commence operation by the end of this year.

"We are delighted to work with Solarhybrid as the exclusive module supplier to the Allstedt I solar power project," commented Peng Fang, CEO of JA Solar. "As this project demonstrates, demand and support for solar energy are strong in Germany. We look forward to working closely with Solarhybrid to ensure the success of this project and to take advantage of future growth opportunities in Germany and beyond".

JA Solar has stated that it predicts total module shipments to Solarhybrid to reach approximately 40MW in 2011, including 19MW of modules for the Allstedt I project.
