How to publish press releases and events

The following steps describe how you can publish press releases and events, for free, on our website(s):

  1. Make sure you’re registered
  • If you’re not yet registered in our database, visit https://shop.pv-magazine.com/register/ to register. If you’re already registered, you can go straight to Step 2 below.
  • Select a username and input it in the registration page. Please note your username can utilize only lower-case letters and the numbers 0 to 9.
  • Input your email address where prompted.
  • Select a password and input it where prompted. (Your password must consist of more than seven characters. Please use both lower- and upper-case letters, as well as numbers and special characters to make your password more secure.)
  • Input your password a second time to confirm it.
  • Click on the selection box in front of the sentence “I agree to the terms and conditions” and set a check mark in this box. By doing so, you are accepting our terms and conditions.
  • Finally, click on “REGISTER” to complete the registration process.
  • Upon completing the registration process, you should see the notice “Registration successful. Please login here”. Click on “login here” to proceed to our login page https://shop.pv-magazine.com/login/.
  1. Access your user profile
  • Visit our website https://shop.pv-magazine.com/login/ and input your username (or email address) where prompted. Then input your password. Click on “LOG IN” to access your user profile.
  • You are now logged in and now have a range of options to choose from:
    • Profile: Information regarding your profile. (By clicking on “Edit Profile” you can modify this information.)
    • Orders: Information regarding any orders you have placed in our web shop.
    • Subscriptions: You can order digital or print subscriptions (either our international or German edition, or both).
    • Publish: You can upload your own press releases or events to our international website or certain regional sites.
  1. Upload company press releases
  • In your user profile, click on “Publish” and select the platform you want your press release to appear on (our global site or various regional sites).
  • Click on “Press release” if you wish to publish a press release.
  • Enter a suitable title for your press release where prompted.
  • Provide a short summary of your press release in the field marked “Summary”.
  • Input the text of your press release in the field marked “Content”.
  • Input your company (or other entity’s) name in the field marked “Company Name”.
  • Optionally, you can provide one or more links (for example, your company’s homepage) in the field marked “Links”. To do this, just click on “add row”. Each link must be complete (for example, the link must start with https:// or http://).
  • Click on “SUBMIT” to upload your press release to the selected website. Our editorial team will review your submission as soon as possible. You will be informed automatically by email once your press release is published.
  • If you would like to publish another press release (or an event), just click on “publish another announcement”.
  1. Upload your event (pv magazine International and pv magazine Germany only)
  • In your user profile, click on “Publish” and select the platform you wish your press release to appear on (our global site or various regional sites).
  • Click on “Event (Termin)” to place an event in the pv magazine online event calendar.
  • Enter a title for your event in the field marked “Title”.
  • Optionally you can provide a short summary of your event in the field marked “Summary”.
  • Input the text of your event in the field marked “Content”.
  • Input in the fields “Start Date” and “End Date” the dates your event starts and ends. Use the calendar function to select these dates.
  • Input in the fields “City” and “Country” for the location of your event.
  • Optionally, in the field “Website”, you can input a link to your event website or to your company. The link must be complete (for example, the link must start with https:// or http://).
  • Select the type of event. (In the case of seminars you can also utilize subcategories.)
  • Click on “SUBMIT” to upload your event to the selected website. Our editorial team will review your submission as soon as possible. You will be informed automatically by email once your event is published.
  • If you would like to publish another press release (or an event), just click on “Publish another announcement”.
  1. Logging out
  • Once you have completed your actions, simply click on “Log Out” in your user profile to log out of our web portal.
