Project example

Project exampleEnergy-autonomous winery with sustainable energy concept. The new winery building intelligently combines a photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the building with electricity storage in the form of a battery. Simulation-based planning with Polysun enables those responsible for the project to efficiently coordinate the components required for the energy-autonomous project across technologies, and to plan and optimize the entire energy system. With Polysun, different scenarios are quickly calculated and variant comparisons are drawn, whereby the simulation leads to a significant optimization of the overall energy system. In addition to photovoltaics and battery, a geothermal probe heat pump and waste heat utilization, among others, are part of this holistic energy system. PV system and battery storage in combination ensure that the plant can be operated self-sufficiently from March to October.
