A Richer, Faster, Smarter Global Website Built Around Customers

In December 2025, Sungrow completed a deep overhaul of its international website, recasting it as a client-first gateway for a global audience. The new site is designed to serve distinct user groups: homeowners, developers, EPCs, investors, engineers and channel partners, while presenting Sungrow’s full clean-energy footprint in a single, coherent structure.

The timing reflects a broader shift in the industry. As solar, storage, grid technology and electrification converge, decision-makers are more diverse, timelines are tighter, and buyers expect the speed and clarity of a modern digital product—not the sprawl of a traditional corporate site. Sungrow frames the redesign around three practical goals: easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to use.

“We see this new website not just as a page, but as a vital data hub designed to power our global business growth,” said by Simon Liu, the general manager behind the project. “Everything we’ve built so far is rooted in the user journey, ensuring every visitor finds the right solution and tailored content effortlessly.” Next, the team plans to roll out 33 country and region sites to support localised content—and to turn the platform into a higher-performance marketing and lead-generation engine for regional teams.

A fuller content architecture—built as an ecosystem

The most meaningful change is structural. Sungrow has upgraded the site around its expanding portfolio, integrating solar inverters and energy storage with wind power conversion, EV charging equipment, hydrogen-related solutions and other power-electronics offerings. The result is an ecosystem view rather than a product shelf—closer to how customers now scope projects.

The site also strengthens technical storytelling. Sections such as “technology highlights” and “whitepapers” sit alongside product pages that connect specifications to real-world application. Visitors can move from a headline feature into deeper proof points, including parameter comparison tools, downloadable technical materials and clearer routes to consultation. Solution pages add videos and data charts to make performance claims easier to interpret and harder to misread.

Data has been pulled closer to the surface, too. The website integrates dynamic visualization from the Sungrow cloud platform, with real-time indicators intended to help users quickly understand operational scale and digital service reach.

A cleaner interface—where ease signals credibility

The redesign adopts a minimalist, technology-forward layout, with a modular homepage and simplified navigation. The emphasis is on orientation and pace: responsive performance on mobile, smooth multi-lingual switching, and faster keyword search intended to cut the time spent hunting for manuals, certificates or essential details.

Sungrow’s materials also point to an August 2025 milestone: a patent related to a keyword-search graphical user interface for electronic devices, intended to improve search and information retrieval. In the context of the website overhaul, it reinforces a consistent message—good interface design is not decoration, but a way to reduce friction and improve outcomes.

For end users, that translates into a more guided experience. One product end user described the new site as “far more efficient to use”, adding: “It’s much easier to navigate—the dedicated homeowner page let me find exactly what I need without getting lost in industrial data.” They also praised product pages that replace “heavy technical jargon” with clear videos and real-life scenarios, and a “super-fast” one-click search that surfaces specific manuals “in seconds”. The site, they said, feels “smooth and intuitive”, making decision-making “effortless”.

A sharper toolkit for partners—because channels run on speed

For distributors and partners, the daily pain point is rarely inspiration; it is time. Teams need installation guides, whitepapers and reference materials instantly—often while supporting a live customer discussion. Sungrow’s upgraded site addresses this with more disciplined downloads and a partner-oriented area that consolidates training and event updates.

A partner user put it plainly: “Having installation guides and whitepapers available for one-click download saves our team a ton of time.” They highlighted the exclusive partner page as “exactly what we need to stay competitive”, and said the dedicated features signal that Sungrow sees partners as part of a “growing ecosystem”. In crowded markets, that kind of enablement—documentation, training cadence, clarity—can be as decisive as hardware specifications.

A platform for innovation—translated into usable language

Sungrow’s materials position the upgraded site as a showcase for innovation, with stronger visual explanation of advanced systems and AI-enabled capabilities. The platform uses interactive elements—3D product displays and animated explainers—to translate complex architectures into a language that non-specialists can follow without losing technical integrity. It also links technology to commercial outcomes, using case narratives and performance indicators to connect “how it works” with “why it matters”.

The underlying wager is that customer experience is infrastructure. If visitors can find answers faster, understand solutions with less effort, and engage more directly, a website becomes an asset that compounds—supporting sales, service and partner collaboration at once.

A digital extension of globalisation

The website overhaul also reads as a digital echo of Sungrow’s global expansion, with its business covering 100+ countries and regions, Sungrow also cite a 98% global local hiring rate and approximately 2000 overseas employees—figures presented as a trust signal for customers assessing long-term delivery and service capability.

In that context, the international website is not a translated brochure. It is intended to be a “first meeting”—one that must convey localisation, service depth and execution credibility, especially for customers weighing operational risk over years rather than quarters.

To explore the upgraded platform:

  • Customers: Explore solutions / contact us
  • Partners: Become a partner / download the toolkit / find local support

Sungrow says it will keep refining the site through user feedback, treating it as a living interface to its global clean-energy ecosystem, not a one-off redesign.
