Volta Green Energy, a company founded in Rovereto (TN) in 2017, is a platform dedicated to development activities, asset management, operation & maintenance and engineering, procurement & construction of plants with renewable sources, which has a specialized team of 20 professionals with decades of experience.
This agreement also provides for the acquisition of a pipeline of wind and photovoltaic projects with an expected installed power of about 800 MW, some of which are ready for construction or with authorization underway. The pipeline will have a balanced green energy mix with about half of the wind-based generation plants and half of the photovoltaic, and an undiversified distribution across the country.
Thanks to this operation, A2A consolidates its position among the main operators in the development of plants in the renewable energy sector in Italy more than doubling its portfolio of assets dedicated to the generation of solar and wind energy, to date equal to about 300 MW.
The partnership is subject to the fulfilment of the conditions precedent of this type of operation.
