Soltech commissioned the Ramsjöholm solar park in September 2024. The company’s strategy regarding solar and battery parks is to develop projects and sell them once commissioned.* In line with its strategy, Solpark Ramsjöholm is now being purchased by Alight.

Richard Nicolin, co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Alight, says: “This is a milestone transaction for Alight, as it’s the first acquisition of a commissioned project in our portfolio. We are primarily investing our capital into projects we have developed ourselves, but the Ramsjöholm solar park provided a very attractive opportunity to grow our operating solar portfolio. Soltech has done a fantastic job developing and commissioning this solar park and we are open to doing acquisitions of mature projects in all Nordic countries.”

Christoffer Caesar, CEO of Soltech Energy Solutions, says: “I’m proud of the work our outstanding team has done in developing and commissioning this 11 MW installation, which brings more clean electricity to the local grid. The solar park will be in good hands with Alight for the duration of its 40-year lifespan.”
